Le Méridien

Progress: Ongoing project

Groupe Unigesco is proud to contribute, in collaboration with the construction firm LEMNY, to the implementation of Le Méridien, a visionary project for our client UTILE (Unité de travail pour l'implantation de logement étudiant). UTILE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and managing affordable, sustainable, and inclusive student housing across Quebec.

Strategically located at the intersection of the Quartier des Spectacles and the Quartier Latin, Le Méridien offers a unique living experience where residents can enjoy Montreal's vibrant cultural and economic life. Situated on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, a symbolic dividing line between east and west Montreal, the project provides unparalleled access to local businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, boutiques, healthcare services, and public transportation.

Key features of the project:

• 281 residential units, primarily reserved for undergraduate students from McGill University.
• Social and study spaces, designed to foster community and academic success.
• A rooftop terrace, offering panoramic views of the city.
• Bike parking and on-site laundry facilities, catering to the needs of urban students.

Scheduled to open in time for the 2026 academic year, Le Méridien will serve as a model for affordable and sustainable housing solutions tailored to the needs of the student population. This project reflects Unigesco's commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality infrastructure that supports communities and meets the demands of modern urban living.
